The Utah Fits All Scholarship has enabled our family to send one of my daughters to a private school in American Fork. When my daughter was in preschool, I was a single mom and I toured the school and fell in love. However, because of my circumstances, it was impossible for me to afford the tuition. Having my daughter finally be able to attend the private school of our choice is a dream come true.
The scholarship has also blessed us in that some of my children are homeschooled. Utah Fits All enables me to pay for tutoring for my children who are struggling and falling behind in subjects such as math. I know some people think the $8000 scholarship is high. I can only afford to send my one daughter to the private school, due to the fact that the scholarship only covers part of the tuition; otherwise, I would send them all there.
