The Utah Fits All Scholarship has been a life saver for my autistic son. While in the public school system we had multiple teachers tell us that “they didn’t know what to do with him.” When I would go and pick him up he was often just reading a book in the office. Although he had excellent reading ability he was behind in writing.
With the scholarship, I was able to get him into a part-time private microschool with smaller class sizes, as well as get him some private tutoring to get his writing ability up. He has been thriving with this combination.
We love this scholarship because not everyone fits into the public school box and different is best for some students. Thank you, Utah Education Fits All!
