Our family is incredibly grateful to have received the scholarship this year. Thanks to the funding from Utah Fits All, my high-functioning autistic son is now thriving in private school.
A year ago, my son was irritable, unhappy, and easily overstimulated. He struggled in public school, unable to fit the traditional mold. His unique way of thinking and sensory sensitivities were frequently triggered in that environment. However, with the support of the scholarship, we were able to enroll him in a private school where he can learn at his own pace which is well above grade level, benefit from smaller class sizes that help reduce sensory overload, and experience a dramatic improvement in his overall happiness. It’s been a true blessing to see him thrive at school. He now LOVES learning.
The Utah Fits All Scholarship is an investment in our children’s future. We have personally witnessed the positive impact it has had on our children, especially our son, and we are grateful for this incredible benefit for Utah’s children.
