Three of our oldest children have already shown tendencies of learning difficulties including dyslexia, dysgraphia, and hyperactivity. We have chosen to work with them individually at home to provide the most supportive learning environment. We have felt more supported than ever in that effort with the help of the Utah Fits All Scholarship.
Not only have we found plenty of direct providers, programs, and resources available to help them progress in disciplines such as reading and math, but also they are being supported on a whole new level in developing skills, proficiencies, and knowledge in areas they have personal interests and passion. Their true passions for robotics, engineering, athletics, art, music, and creativity have really begun to shine through!
Having the flexibility to learn at their own pace allows our children ample time to move about, to explore, and come back to learning when it becomes overwhelming. They have also been supported by tutors, teachers, and a mom that gets how they learn, making it more enjoyable. This format has changed the way our children thrive in learning. They often return feeling eager to learn more vs. dreading the chore of it.
The Utah Fit All Scholarship has truly given us so much freedom in how we choose to educate our children, allowing them to really grow exponentially this year. Their character, minds, and hearts are full and growing still!
