Our homeschool journey started two years ago after feeling very deflated about our daughter’s kindergarten year at one of the best schools in southern Utah. Homeschooling has been wonderful in providing Brynlee (8) and our son, Aiden (6) the customized education they need to succeed.
This scholarship has been wonderful for being able to explore and find what works best for our children. They were both recently diagnosed with autism and this scholarship has allowed us to get them the help they need. I have been able to piece different curriculums together to help my children learn concepts that would otherwise be tough for them.
As stated, both my children are autistic. We have been able, with the funds provided, to get them the extra support they need to help them learn and grow and become contributing members of society. When we started in the public school system with my daughter, it became quickly apparent that the teacher was having difficulty supporting her needs and her progression was stifled. She is now thriving and learning so well thanks to the Utah Fits All Scholarship.
