My family is beyond grateful for the Utah Fits All Scholarship. My kids really struggled with public school and we made the uneasy decision to homeschool. They are now thriving and have become so much more confident and do not struggle with so much anxiety and stress anymore.
Homeschooling was not an easy decision, knowing I would have to transfer my job to work from home to an almost non-existant income. A good majority of our taxes go to the public school system, and now we would be devoting a portion of our income to give our children the best education we can from home. That hit our family hard financially. Utah Fits All gave us such a huge relief, and we are so blessed to have this opportunity.
I hope this scholarship can reach more to give them the same amazing opportunity we have been given. Each child learns differently and has different interests. My kids have the opportunity to be who they are and work towards what they are interested in, including the history, science, and social studies we learn. Both of my children learn differently so being able to have access to different curriculums that adapt to their needs has been great. They have more time for what they love such as sign language classes, voice lessons, violin and ice skating. Thank you to all who have made this happen. We are beyond thankful.
