As a single mother, the Utah Fits All Scholarship has given me the ability to provide greater opportunities and a quality education for my son. Receiving it has allowed me to further pursue advancement in nursing education while reducing the financial burden of both his schooling and mine.
I work in healthcare, serving my community and giving back what has been provided to us. This scholarship program has enabled my son to attend a private school that is not only close to where we live but also equipped with incredible resources to support his special needs. The school has helped him to address his speech delay with specialized assistance, offers after-hours tutoring, and even provides childcare — something invaluable for a single parent such as myself.
Thanks to this opportunity, my son thrives in a setting with smaller class sizes, where he receives the personalized attention he needs. At his school everyone knows his name and he is loved, safe, and protected; an immeasurable comfort for me as the parent of an only child. I am so grateful to Utah Fits All for giving my son a better future.
