Whether you have returning scholarship students or are hoping your children will receive the scholarship for the first time this year, we know our UEFA Community has many unanswered questions about this year’s application portal and process for the Utah Fits All Scholarship. Parents, here is some helpful information to get you ready.
Application Portal Dates for 2025-2026 School Year
- January 21, 2025: Application window opens for Renewals — This applies to returning scholarship students only
- February 3, 2025: Application window opens for New Applicants
- March 28, 2025: Application window closes for all applicants (new and renewal)
- April 14, 2025: Scholarship awards will be announced for the 2025-2026 academic year

The following is information shared by ACE:
- If your student is eligible for renewal, you will see a “Renew” button appear on your UFA Account on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Read more here.
- Waitlisted students must reapply. The data you entered into your application for the 2024-25 school year will need to be reviewed in order for you to apply for the following year. Read more here.
- There are two application windows. The second application window includes unawarded siblings of UFA scholarship students. Read more here.

Here at UEFA we take our responsibility as advocates for families and the UFA program very seriously. We have some concerns about the timing of the application window as well as information from the Program Manager regarding what constitutes an acceptable option for income verification. This particular option fails to account for income changes or household composition that could impact eligibility. We do not believe it is in compliance with the law. Furthermore, it would facilitate an income-based award selection that is neither fair nor legitimate, making a mockery of the lottery process. As your advocates, we have taken our concerns directly to the appropriate legislators and USBE members and will keep you posted on any changes that might occur as a result.
